Monday, October 31, 2005 I must say and I believe that you need not worry about OFA and BFD but for ERP, I am very very very very extremely disappointed!!!! Exams component already have 1/3 of the class failed! ONLY 3 deserving students who are worthy of the 'A's before all the rest of the components are sum up. The rest? Count yourself lucky if you just borderlined! Bcoz the grades are modified so much! So if you have a 'B', means that you may be originally a 'D'! Why such differences? Now recall and see if you can rem why I pressed you for the PROGRESS TESTs, your ATTENDANCEs, your PARTICIPATIONs, PROJECTs etc... These are the reasons that contribute to your PASS. SO if you think you are the ones who SKIPS my class, come LATE and AH-lian/Ah-Beng in-the-making, refuse to join the class as one and you happened to pass, please dun think that you are good, in fact you are NOT! I can assure you that I had given more help to those who are worthy (dunno the subject well but make effort to come to class and ask me questions.) compare to you! SO how much I have help you will depend greatly on all the above criterias, so I see no reasons why you will fail if you did all these... Paper dificult? In fact this is the most standard paper set I felt. ( This is the standard you will get in POLY) Some of you may be very happy, some may relieved and some may feel sad (and YOU SHOULD)....for whatever reasons, its a WAKE UP call to you NOW! Semester 1 is over, so please start afresh for the next! And pls dun continue all your lame excuses and bad habits, you know who you are! Your unDebar list and your project grades are my sweet welcoming gift to you for this semester so dun expect your next semester will be the same. I will be more strict and tuning you to be like poly students...so stay tune to my expectations for the next semester and if you follow, I will make sure you will not regret. Now, I feel so good saying the truth! :) suspense is still on ...HAHAHA! post a note at 10/31/2005 08:01:00 AM If you have received the recent msg from Meiling, YES! you are invited! for those who have not, YOU ARE INVITED too from this blog....(CATCH:as long as you are KFs) Thanks to Meiling and Annie for organising this class BBQ! Nonetheless, it doesn't mean its their job to do so for the rest of the 31 ppl in our class. So...........be more (zi dong) aka automatic to play your part as KF to make an effort to come early and help to setup and have fun! Just to think that effort to book the pit and buy food and bring food to the venue... Everyone have an equal role, so dun expect you will be served like KINGS AND QUEENS! (except me...whhahaha.just joking) Thus, I shall see you on the 16th November at East Coast Pit 29! Food will be Halah....vegetarian? I guess there are enough coconut trees around :)or (BYO)bring your own food! Meiling, did you invite the other lecturers who had taught you? So anyone kind enough to plan and prep the food? post a note at 10/31/2005 07:48:00 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2005 a few weeks ago miss tan has suggest a class outing in the blog. and due to the shortage of time, we hasn't plan any yet... and nowwwww it's holidayyyyyyyy.... and it's very very hard for us to plan as a class.. so if you people have any idea of what to do. please email meiling (mei_ling87@hotmail.com) she will be the one preparing.. as wat miss tan has said recently, she will onli be free on the 15-17 of nov.. what about you guys? give meiling a call or sms or even email to let her know when you guys are free as soon as possible.. i've got some suggestion from some of our classmate. 1) BBQ 2) open of chalet at chervons as there's also a BBQ pit there.. and the dates where some of you ppl CAN & CANNOT make it.. miss tan: FREE on 15-17Nov Weiqi: Cannot Make it on 5-8 Nov what bout the rest. throw in yr idea As Soon As Possible as time is running short.. thanksss alott... pass this message on... post a note at 10/25/2005 09:50:00 AM Thursday, October 13, 2005 on the 20th Oct 05. post a note at 10/13/2005 06:13:00 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2005 Finally, I have CLEARED all of you off the debarment list! Mr Steven Koh and Mr Lim Wee Lian post a note at 10/10/2005 04:17:00 PM Monday, October 03, 2005 College West has been assigned some time slots to keep Dr Tan company on the track. As he wheelchairs himself around the track, our staff and students would be jogging slowly around the 400m track for about 15-30min, depending on the schedule. We are looking for volunteers to help out in this event. All staff and students are welcome. Please speak with your students on this, as we are trying to make this event as successful as possible. The dates for CT's involvement are as follow: Fri 21 Oct 05, 5pm Sun 23 Oct 05, 5pm. All participants would be given a t-shirt designed for the event as well as CIP points. You can direct all enquiries to any of the PE staff. Looking forward to your keen support. post a note at 10/03/2005 11:46:00 AM
