Saturday, March 25, 2006 When? 27th Mar Monday Time? Before 8.30am Why? I have announcements to make. Who to take? Whole class Agenda: -NIE Survey -PHP Textbook for next semester -CampusSuper Star event -Basics of Entreprenuership briefing post a note at 3/25/2006 10:15:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2006 There's a training session for this Friday (25 Mar 2006) at 1pm at Lab 1. As this programme involves helping senior citizens to surf the net using specialised IBM software, we need committed and dedicated students to participate in it. There will be full-time community centre staff conducting the training and our students only play a supporting role. My SH has specifically nominated Durga and Meiling. So Go Gals! post a note at 3/21/2006 01:02:00 PM All Year 1 classes are to take part in the survey. Our class is to do the survey after OA4001PA Business Communication exam on Mon, 27 Mar 2006. Time will be announced on that day. So you can't leave straight after your exams.... :) post a note at 3/21/2006 12:59:00 PM Enuff said, checkout this: SAF requested ITE to provide 320 student motivators. This year ITE students will be performing together with 80 poly students. Recruitment of motivators will starts on Sat 25 Mar 06 at ITE CE at 10am. The reason for the early recruitment is to select the motivators for the costume sizing to be held on Sat 15 Apr 06 at ITE CE. The costume sizing is important as the costumes will be made overseas which will require some lead time. Interested students are to register their interest with any of the PE staff. post a note at 3/21/2006 12:47:00 PM Arrangements will be done to have this live telecast at our campus on :Sun 2 Apr 06 :for the final event :from 7.30pm - 11pm. Student supporters from the all departments can come forward, it would be very much appreciated. post a note at 3/21/2006 12:45:00 PM However, they have to commit and are going to be a Poly student for 1 day at TP attending a 5 hours workshop and then after taking up 10 hours of workshop with Ms Joy + a project (which you have already been working on for ETP) What do they get? - 1 credit unit on ITE transcript (+ transferrable if they entered TP) - 1 Certificate of Attendance - An experience being Poly student - Testing ground for yourself to adjust to Poly standards This chance is unique and rare thus there are only 2 placements for each class, BUT my kind boss actually requested 6 students from our class...... I did mention before and been reiterating during class that this week is MEANT for your studying week and you are ACTUALLY still require to come back to school for attendance but I had decided to let you revise on your own! Nonetheless, you are still required to return IF you are "RECALLED". Please do not take this priviledge for granted as your entitlement as this is from me to you, other lecturers may not practice this. If you are still living in the world of your own, I will revoke this priviledge no more. NOW, been trying to contact this 6th person - Mr Ibrahim, if you are not able to commit, I will be more than delighted to remove you and replace with Mr Winson. Please do return my call and explain for your absence this morning. post a note at 3/21/2006 12:24:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2006 Why?
