"Explore Singapore!"

"Explore Singapore!" 2006 is a multi-faceted campaign which encourages everybody to embark on fun and fascinating journeys to discover our island's colourful past, rich heritage and vibrant cultures. "Explore Singapore!" 2006 is a joint campaign by National Library Board (NLB), National Heritage Board and Media Development Authority to spark a national desire amongst Singaporeans to rediscover their heritage. As part of the "Explore Singapore!" 2006 Campaign, the NLB has organised the Heritage Roadshow. The Heritage Roadshow will take place:

Date & Time : Sat 11 Nov (11 am - 6 pm)
Sun 12 Nov (11 am - 4 pm, 6 pm - Announcement of the Top 10 Great Finds!)

Venue : The Plaza, National Library Foyer, 100 Victoria Street

2 Do you have old documents circa 1970 or earlier such as an antique book, old maps, photographs, old-fashioned posters? If you have, bring them to the Heritage Road Show. You could donate them to the National Library as a contribution towards documenting S'pore's Heritage. If you can't bear to part with it, the documents could be digitally captured at the Road Show and returned to you on the spot. Cash prizes totalling $10,000 to be given out during the Road Show and fun-filled activities such as balloon giveaways and Ethnic Costumes Photo-taking will also take place. Public can also learn about the treasures of the National Library and existing exhibition of our Literary Pioneers.

3 If you wish to know more details about the contest, the categories of the items & judging criteria could be found in the attachment below.

ACNielsen has invited some selected students to participate in the survey on Student Success. The invitation was sent by ACNielsen to the students' ITE e-mail accounts.

Since we don't know exactly which students were invited by ACNielsen for the survey, please help to check your ITE e-mail accounts and respond to the invitation (if you are invited to participate in the survey) accordingly.
